What is Grid.Bloom?

Grid.Bloom is an electronic music project started by Corey Gardner. What began as explorations in digital music while pursuing both undergraduate and graduate degrees in music composition has evolved into an artistic identity and a unique sonic palette that make up the songs of Grid.Bloom. Fusing the knowledge of music theory and composition of classical and choral music styles with heavy hitting, bass fueled music that blends organic and analog sounds with synthetic digital textures to tell stories and create experiences. Drawing inspiration from many sources and creating music that defies categorization, grid.bloom brings a unique voice to the stage with sets that not only make you want to move but also create unique sonic stories and experiences that evolve and change over time.

From dance floor heat to ambient, Grid.Bloom creates music that evokes a wide array of feelings and sensory experiences. Having created multi-channel ambisonics works to the release catalogue of dance focused songs, Grid.Bloom uses an extensive knowledge of music structure and theory to consistently push the envelope for artistic expression through sound and music. The debut performance of Grid.Bloom was opening the night performing with artist such as Flyspec, J. Laang, Sqonk, Chez, and Crawdad Sniper. Grid.bloom brings an adventurous and exploratory energy to the room with bass focused textured sound design and grooves.
